Here is another stilt walker.... dressed texan! it was so cool you can see the people in the back to get an idea of his height. The other pics are more of the hotel and the one of Maddie is just random. It was cute!

posts out of order

Sorry Family! I posted them individually so it mixed up the order. If you start with the "Fun Date' post and move upward it will make more sense to you. We sure miss everyone and again invite anyone who wants to come visit! OH and by the way. I cut all my hair off and wear it straight... what do you think?
An indoor geyser. It would vary in height and time of spouting. We happened to be right in front of it when it went off to the highest size!

Here is one of the train layouts... I am glad I got the person in it so you can see the scale. It was so neat. Mom Dabney would have loved it!

Those tables are where we ate dinner.. right on the river. It was so awesome and quiet! (did I mention no kids!) I have a friend who works here and on nights when they don't have a high occupancy they will give the employees an awesome rate that they can share with friends and family. I waited 5 weeks to find a night that would work and it was well worth it.

They also had a replica of what they call the Texan Grand Canyon. The hotel is built in a circle and in the middle is all this "stuff" over 4 acres to explore.

This was another performer. She was on stilts look close you can see her face!

Here is one of the mini trains viewed from our balcony. It was shaped like a guitar! We could sit on our balcony and listen to the river flow through the building.

Fun Date

So much has been going on in our little world. I wanted to share some pictures. Tim and I ran away for a night to the Gaylord Texan. It was amazing and so much fun.

There were a couple of miniature trains and villages in the building..... Look at one of the little taco stands! I was tickled pink to see my own taco stand.

This guy was so cool! He was holding very still like a statue but he was a real person. He just wandered around the atrium area finding new spots to stand or sit. He surprised a few kids... it was funny.
This was the view from our room. It had a replica of the Riverwalk in San Antonio, the Alamo a couple of famous missions, and tons of other neat attractions.

Some People Stink

WOW! I never thought I would get back on my blog. Tim's practice was broken in to and they stole his laptop. So, in a race to save info we changed ALL of our passwords on every account we own. (just in case they were computer guru's or something) Then, I didn't remember my password and when you request a new one, they send it to your email, well. I didn't remember that one either!!! HA! I guess now that I am old I should write stuff down instead of trying to remember it. Tim's laptop is a lost cause and they say we won't get it back. That sucks. I had just bought myself a new laptop. (those of you who know me well know I never buy anything for myself. My family gets all the good stuff) So I am VERY bummed to say Tim's office got my laptop. We just can't afford another. I will give my sweet husband credit though, he wanted to buy another and just put it on a credit card because he recognizes how I sacrifice. I flat out refused, especially in these times. BUT it was sweet of him to acknowledge it. The kids are coming up on spring break and I have no idea what I am going to do with them. It will be interesting...... MISS YOU ALL, wish I was going to GA for the break.. hugs and kisses

new pics

Hi Family. These pictures were taken by Teresa's boyfriend Mark, while we were in GA for Christmas. I love the one of the kids. Things have been pretty standard around here lately. Work... Sleep... Eat. Tim is studying for his last boards. We would appreciate it if everyone would pray for him. The kids are all doing well. Tim and the boys went camping with the scouts last night. Maddie and I stayed in and watched HS musical 3. I don't think Maddie loved it. Sharpay is still her favorite!
